TAGGS ISLAND TODAY
TAGGS ISLAND TODAY
Taggs Island is a six acre island on the River Thames nestled between bushy Park and Hurst Park, half a mile upstream from Hampton Court Palace. It is home to one of Britain’s largest residential Houseboat communities on a picturesque stretch of the river between Molesey and Sunbury.
The 62 Houseboats benefit from a private bridge that gives road access to all essential services and each boat has the option to connect to mains water, electricity, gas and fibre-optic.
The Houseboats are connected to a bespoke vacuum sewerage system that ensures harmony with the environment and sets us apart from other floating communities.
Our residents come from a variety of backgrounds, with a lean towards creatives, and including families and retirees.
